The Prayer Card Project

Putting the Power of Prayer To Work

Jesus tells us that when we ask, we will receive. Children in foster care awaiting adoption are children who do not have a family anymore to call their own. They have experienced neglect and trauma that we cannot possible understand.

Our God is a wonderful, powerful and loving God who tells us time and time again to call on Him, to seek Him in prayer, and to place our needs at His feet. Children in foster care often times do not understand the power of having Christ in their life. As disciples of Christ, it is our duty to prayer for others and help bring them closer to Christ.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

How do I get this ministry started at my church?

The first step would be to make sure your church would be interested in participating in this ministry. If you are unsure, where to start, contact us and we will reach out to your church. Otherwise, submit an inquiry form to begin the process.

Is this ministry only available for churches?

Actually, no, and that is a good question! We suggest church groups because this is the greatest place for prayer. We do also work with schools, businesses, and other organizations who are receptive to prayer and committing to praying for others.

Are there any requirements for participating in this ministry?

We just ask that your church or organization be within the United States.

Is there a cost to receive prayer cards?

We rely on donations to help us run many of our programs including this one, therefore, there is no charge for you to participate.

How are the cards delivered to me or my organization?

We have two ways for you to receive the information: in-print products mailed to address provided or digital files delivered for your organization to print.

What if my church knows of children in this situation?

If you are aware of foster children in your congregation, please let us know. For risk of embarrassment, we try to avoid sending cards for children to the same area in which they live. While being prayed for should not be embarrassing, the children need to be protected for the possibility of being hurt or embarrassed.

Would you like to help this ministry of prayer financially?

Support comes in all shapes and sizes. Your donations make it possible for this ministry to continue.
